The school offers a wide range of option for co-curricular activities: Vocal, Music, Violin, Key-board, Mirudangam, dance, drawing, arts and crafts, archery and indoor games. Students explore the various options and along the way, find their niche and enjoy developing their skills in the specific areas of their liking. This helps each student to be a versatile and well integrated personality.
COIP – Career Oriented Integrated Programme is implemented along with the regular curriculum meet the challenge of today. The students of class III to XII are engaged with this programme to let them achieve their aspiration of becoming a doctor, engineer, scientist, lawyer and IAS etc. The School provides integrated courses as follows.

The COIP Course has been introduced to ensure the students a secured future. The students develop their skills to face any competitive exam and to come out successfully getting themselves eligible to pursue their desired Higher Education and to place them in the right and high position in their career.
National Cadet Corps
NCC is the preparatory course for the Military Training. Our school initiated NCC in 2009 with 27 Cadets and Mrs. Florida Kavitha the care taker. Since October 2011, Mrs. Akila is the care taker of the NCC Unit. She has completed her three month Pre-Commission course at Govalior (from 06.08.2012 to 06.11.12) and has become an anthorised ANO (Associate NCC officer) of our school.
Our NCC troop comes under 8 TN BN NCC (8 Tamil Nadu Battalion) Kumbakonam. We follow the rules and regulations of DG, NCC, New Delhi. Our Cadets take 40parades a year and attend the CATC (combined Annual Training Camp) and write ‘A’ certificate exam – Going on rally creating awareness among the public is one of their regular activities.
Bharat Scouts and Guides
Our Scouts and Guides have done many social service like – Temple service, Hospital service, Tree plantation, Adult literacy awareness, Blood donation camp, Diabetics Awareness. Health and Hygiene Programme and so on.
Right from 2004 our students are enrolled in Scouts and Guides. So far 115 scouts and 110 guides attended the Rajya Puraskar Award training and wrote exam and got through. 15 student have received Rashtrapathi Award. This year 8 students have attended the Rajya puraskar Award camp at TGN municipal HSS, Mayiladuthurai in the month of June 2018 and attended the Rajyapuraskar exam. Mrs. J. Jayalakshmi attended oneday workshop at Mahatma Gandhi Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Madurai for the Rajyapuraskar Award exam examiners on 22.06.2018.
