Gudalur Kalyanasundaram Ramamurthy an entrepreneur par excellence, a philanthropist of the highest order, a successful individual, and a man of humanity and compassion is the concept creator of Dr.G.S.Kalyanasundaram Matriculation Higher Secondary School a not-for-profit educational institution.
Shri. G. K. R. is a perceptive philanthropist who has been the key architect of several welfare schemes for the society. He created several verticals of the G K R Foundation to devote his charities to healthcare, education and other important social causes, with a vision philosophic and conviction authentic.
Shri .G. K. Ramamurthy obtained his basic degree in Science from Loyola College, Chennai and then got his Masters in Science from the Presidency College in Chennai in EARLY 60S . He is a high net worth individual committed to sharing wealth and values with the society. His unflinching commitment to the cause of health-care and education inspired him to form GKR Foundation and GKR Charities in the year 2000. A keen student of Management, he has traveled widely. He takes time off to address elite academic gatherings in various Management schools and colleges.
With intense passion for providing quality education, he established Dr. G.S. Kalayansundaram Matriculation School in 2000, at Pazhaya Gudalur, Tamil Nadu, and Dr. G.S. Kalayanasundaram Memorial School CBSE in 2007 at Kumbakonam. As for the schools he is the life blood and the ruler. He is also a mentor and an administrator.
