Dr. G.S.K Model United Nations -2022

      The 7th Model United Nations was organised at Dr. GSK Matric  on 14th October' 22 .Preparing and participating in a MUN helps the students  to develop leadership skills, research, writing, public speaking,  problem-solving skills and embarks on a life-changing journey that will help them to  attain stronger awareness of global issues, and the chance to make new friends from different parts of the Society .

    The programme commenced with a divine song of eminent vocalist Mrs.M.S Subulakshmi ,which emphasized peace and harmony in the locale. The Principal Mr. Ganesan rendered  his noteworthy welcome Speech. The day was absolutely unique and memorable with the presence of our Esteemed Special Guest Rtn. Sesha Sai,The Honorary Consul for Republic of Seychelles.

      10 schools with 120 students took part in the MUN and passed resolutions. The special guest empowered all the participants and instilled the nature of changing experience to knowledge .He counselled them to remember four mantras such as: be strong, think high, stay positive and shower love.  The CEO of the school Rtn. Murali Rao addressed the gathering by asking the participants to grab the opportunities that are bestowed onto them.

     The best speaker and the effulgent enthusiastic orators were awarded with special prizes. As a token of reverence, the participant schools were  recognised with a memento for their energetic participation. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks and National Anthem.
