On 18th November, to commemorate the birth anniversary of our Founders father, Founders father was celebrated in a pomp our manner. Amidst the pandemic situation, overstepping the criteria and with the deep intention of serving the society, the teachers of Dr.GSK Matric along with the Principal and Vice-Principal visited the orphanage Arumai Illam, located in Cholanpettai, Moovallur.

The orphan is not a cause. The orphan is not an issue. The orphan has a human face, and that face is the Almighty. God tells us that when we see the poor, the weak, the vulnerable, the tossed aside, we see Him there. Our school extended their support and funded the orphanage by providing them some provender. The old age people and the foundling felt elated and showered their blessings for the materialistic help and the virtuous attitude towards the needy. Our teachers spent some quality time with them and returned with a contented heart.
