Margazhi Maha Utsav -2022

On 7th and 8th January 2022,Our school organized  Margazhi utsav , in a grandeur and pompous manner to spread the divinity and  our heritageous religious culture to the younger generation.In order to channelize positive thoughts ,the celebrations commenced by invoking Gods benison: by lighting the lamp and chanting fervent prayers.  Our Principal Incharge rendered the welcome speech,to all the dignitaries with soulful words in the snowy evening of Margazhi.

          The first  day celebration titled 'Saivam' commenced with a group song by the students that expanded the aesthetic day with an aroma of vibrant music of the almighty, Lord Siva .An astonishing Tamil speech articulated the weightiness of the divine month Margazhi. Students enunciated a few lines from Bhagavat Gita in Sanskrit ,that drifted the spectators to the world of deities. A mind boggling and alluring Arthanareeswarar dance staged by the students  made the onlookers euphoric. The parents sang Thevaram songs which spread the spiritual fragrance in the environment and they're felicitated .The mystical and melodious Musical Concert by young Dr.GSKians,seized the central attention of the audience.

          The second day celebration titled 'Vainavam' commenced with a mesmerizing blissful group song , sung by our school teachers insisting the  indispensability of Gods and Goddesses. The students of Matric and Memorial school participated and created a beatified ambience by their astounding performances.  In order to spread the requisite of alwars, who promoted the Bhagavata cult and the two Hindu epics, our students disguised as them and recited their sayings. Our Art Academy teachers captured  the essence of the day by tuning various musical instruments. Our children performed a graceful dance which incredibly synchronized with the notes that  depicted the Lord Vishnus glory. Bags of energy and loads of blessings crowned the audience . The program concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by the RCOD on the first day and  HOD of the Language department on the second day,followed by a divine Mangalam.
