Margazhi Maha Utsav 2020

The auspicious month Margazhiis is also known as Margasheersha. We, the GSK-ians celebrated this spiritual month in a sumptuousness manner in our school premises. To imbibe the younger generation with the culture and tradition, our management took this initiative. We celebrated Margahi Utsavam for two days.

The first-day celebration of Margahi Utasavamwas conducted in the gracious presence of Prof.Krishnamurthy and Mr.Suresh Krishna. The concept that revolved around us was the Arudha Dharshan, which encompassed the continuous cycle of creation and ecstatic dance of LordShiva. The students showcased the arena with their graceful dance performance. The parents organized a musical concert and they filled the aura with divinity and made us feel the spiritual fragrance. Prof.Krishnamurthy spoke about the values of Hinduism, which chisel the lives of human beings..

The second-day celebration commenced with the beautiful quote Among the months I am Margahli, among the flowers, I am Jasmine. The event was stunned elegantly spreading the might of Goddess Andal. The occasion was presided by DheekshidarSri.Praveen Kumar, who addressed the gathering. His divine inspiring speech induced the hidden culture and tradition and the significance of the rituals that we follow. The spectators were made to hover by the musical concert of ourArt Academy teachers. The Alumni of our school displayed their talents during the concert and proved to be young musical legends, which indeed mesmerizedall. The Dance Drama of Andal was performed by our students, which gave us lively a picturization of all mythological adherences. Master N.Shivabalan, the student of class XI, was honored by the Chief Guest for winning the second prize in the state-level competition, in playing the percussion instrument or sing, organized by the Kala Utsav. The Principal cherished the student for bringing laurels to the school.

As a part of MargaliUtsav, a Fancy dress competition was conducted for the kids who were connected with us virtually. The children disguised themselves as God and Goddess and blazed our eyes with their amazing appearance.
