REPUBLIC DAY 2021

The programme unfolded with the chanting of prayer by our fervent cuckoo choir group. The Principal extended a warm welcome and rendered rapturous republic day wishes to the gathering. She expressed the significance of republic day and reminded the freedom fighters and their struggles, as a seeding jingoism in the young minds.

The Principal unfurled the National flag amidst loud cheers. Students and staff saluted the National flag and pledged to uphold honor and integrity. The march past began with the Head boy Master Uma Maheshwaran and Head girl Selvi Kavisri. As they passed the saluting base, they turned their heads towards the delegate expressing due respect to our Principal.

Ms.Jayachitra, the music teacher, and her team sang patriotic songs, which reverberated the school ground with nationalistic flavor and enthusiasm. One of our English teachers delivered her energetic speech in a flag-waving tone. Students from IX and X grade performed classical dance and their graceful movements were spellbinding. Students showcased a mime show, that branded in the mind and heart of the audience the perception of unity in diversity.

Dr.G.S.K Matric shoulders immense pride in organizing, the final round- Quiz programme amidst pandemic situations, which unveiled the astuteness of the students. We bestowed prizes for the quick-witted.
The Principal and the Vice-Principal cherished the winners and participants of the 34th Tamil Nadu Junior & Senior Open Athletic Championship 2021, held in Sivakasi. They recognized their hard work and rejuvenated their participation.
