Teacher Training:  To improve Spoken English

      On 20.7.23, a meeting was held at GKR Matric School for the English teachers with Mrs.Priya Muralidharan - Trustee of GKR foundation, in the presence of Rotarian Murali Rao - CEO, Mr.P.Ganesan ,Principal and Mrs.R.Suganthi ,the HOD of Language Department, addressing regarding ELF and Cambridge classes.

    The discussion focused on the suitability of Cambridge books for different class levels, and Mrs.R.Suganthi, HOD of Language Department provided valuable suggestions for determining appropriate levels.

    One of the English teachers, briefed about the progress of ELF Classes, assuring Priya Mam that they had been fruitful and positively impacted students' English language skills.

     Priya Mam expressed interest in implementing conversation training for teachers to improve their spoken English. It was agreed that if noticeable improvements were not observed within a short period, the training duration would be extended until December.

    Mrs. Suganthi assured that situational travelogue and conversation exercises would enhance teachers' spoken English skills, making them more proficient in communication.
